I have two large breed dogs (Rottweilers) and a chihuahua that likes to jump off my bed frequently. Their joint health is important to me especially after having other dogs that developed joint issues as they aged. Once my pups reached about 12 months, I placed them on this as a preventative measure. Recently one of my dogs experienced a torn acl and this supplement has helped her in her recovery. I would recommend this to anyone that has a breed with known joint problems like hip dysplasia or such as a preventative measure. The chews are small enough for all breeds and can be cut in half since they are chews if needed.

Winston had an episode of IVDD in his neck that went to his right leg. We healed him the conservative route with no surgery and is took about 8 weeks for him to get back to about 80%. We then started him on Cosequin, and within 4 weeks we noticed a huge difference in him, he was back to playing and moving around normally. We also noticed the softness in his coat as well. I highly recommend this product! The video of him running at the beach was about 10 weeks after injury.

I love that it’s a health benefit for her, while an exciting treat at the same time! They do a have a little bit of a fishy odor to them, but the smell does not stay on the our dogs breath.

I have a 9-year-old rescue Jack Russell Basset Hound. He's lost his two other rescue brothers since 2020. He also went through an emergency surgery recently. Also found out he has severe arthritis in his back hips. Limping a lot more. After a lot of research I decided this product seemed like it would be the best. He just finished his fifth day. What a difference already! I've noticed him doing a lot more running. He's walking much faster. And he's not dragging his hind end up the steps to come back in the house from the yard. He was having a really hard time. He also had to get several growths removed during surgery. His skin was not looking too good. Even after 5 days now I can tell that has improved as well as his coat. I've seen some reviews where dogs do not like the taste of these. So far so good with him. I give it to him first thing in the morning when he wakes up and he's really hungry. He doesn't think twice, he gobbles it down. Then he enjoys his breakfast. I'm hoping these continue to improve his joint health. I want to keep him around as long as possible!

I have never written a review before but I feel like these needed one. My pit bull tore her ACL and had surgery to repair it but her limp never went away. Soon after we started her on these she was finally moving like her old self again. The only downside is they do smell pretty horrendous (strong fishy smell, one of my family members gags when she gives it to her lol). My dog didn’t love the taste alone but if I put it in her bowl with her food she eats it just fine. 10/10 recommend!

I can’t recommend Cosequin Joint Health Supplement enough! My dog has been taking these soft chews for a while now, and the difference is incredible. Before starting this supplement, I noticed some stiffness, especially after long walks or playtime. Since adding Cosequin to his routine, he moves more easily, has more energy, and seems genuinely happier. If your dog struggles with joint stiffness or you want to support their long-term joint health, Cosequin is a fantastic choice. It’s vet-recommended, easy to give, and actually works. Our Sammy is a 9 year old Ridgeback/Lab mix. His hips have bothered him on and off for a couple of years. The last supplement we used stopped working and the past week he has been increasingly uncomfortable - laying around a lot, limping when he gets up, panting (from pain). We almost scheduled a same day vet visit, but these chews were recommended and it was same day delivery so we decided to give it a try. An hour later, he was running around playing like a puppy again. I am not joking. We were all shocked. It’s now been 10 hours since his very first dose (3 chews) and he’s the happiest dog! No sign of a limp. These will definitely get him by until it’s time to take more drastic measures. We rescue quite a few animals and will be keeping these on hand forever.

I originally got these for my elder cocker spaniel who had a hard time getting around and let me tell you, they worked! His mobility improved significantly! He absolutely loves the taste of them and I actually used these to train my puppy for tricks as well. It must taste really good! Both of my dogs don’t even chew them up before swallowing. They are very soft and easy to eat so you don’t have to worry about choking. The price is a little bit up there, but it’s worth every penny of it can help keep my old dog mobile. My vet reckoned these for pain relief but I didn’t know they would cure him!

These supplements have helped my dog SO MUCH. I was giving him meloxicam almost daily, he couldn’t go up any steps without it. Now he is going up and down steps to go potty no problem. He’s been on them about a month and they have made a world of difference. I’m now giving them to him every other day and he loves them. They def smell fishy but my other dogs are begging for them too now. He’s a medium sized chihuahua/terrier mix, about 17 pounds. 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend.

My poor girl couldn’t last on her walks and her breed needs lots of mental & physical stimulation so I had to make her a doggie stroller in order to give her much needed outings. I’d have to push her to & from a park or different location, let her walk around for a bit to sniff, explore & do her necessities. Sadly, that was too short of a time before she started limping again. 😔 My friend recommended this to me as it helped her dog a lot! Now, no more limping. She still gets this as her daily treat for maintenance. She loves the taste, and I love the consistency because it’s easy to cut without crumble so I can hide 4 pieces out if 1 piece effectively for her to sniff & find. Also, I love that instead if 2 pieces for her daily dose, as most others are, this one is only 1 piece for her weight, so make sure to keep that in mind when comparing to others. I believe that this was so worth the money for the benefits of her healing! She can now walk without limping and jump up onto the back of my Subaru like an athlete! You would never know she was struggling with her joints before. I highly recommend this product. I hope this review helped you, and can help your beloved pup.

My 6 year old mix was limping for over a month and after visiting the vet twice they gave him pain medicine and suggested these supplements along with fish oil. He refused to eat them at first so I crumbled them with my fingers and mixed them into some wet food with the salmon oil and offered it as a treat. Now he will happily eat the cosequin by itself. After a few days he stopped limping. Not sure if it actually works or if he just needed time for leg pain to go away, but I will keep giving him these because other people say they help their older dogs and he is getting up there in age.

We have a 13 year old Shepherd-Rottweiler mix. He's very active, but like most big dogs, he has arthritis and leg issues. He had ACL TPLO surgery in 2018. It's recently become harder for him to get to his feet from sleeping on the floor and stairs are a no-no. We had him on Cosequin years ago, and I tried it again last week, hoping that it would help. Within a day, unbelievably, he experienced a noticeable improvement. While he was at a slow mosey before to watch from the sidelines, this past weekend, he was bouncing around with the Lab, chased a chipmunk, and found a shade tree to dig under. While I can't say that it would help every dog, in our case, it was just what he needed. Give it a try. He seems more limber and in control of his movements. Recommended!

She wouldn't eat the harder tablets from this same company, but she will eat the soft chews. I break it into about 4 pieces and hand-feed them like treats. I had to take her off her dog food that was very high in glucosamine and chondroitin as it was very high in protein and she now has kidney protein issues. So I started her on these chews, which are lower in dosage so not yet quite as effective, thought somewhat helpful - she isn't yet jumping onto her favourite chair again.

The packaging implies it will take time for the product to work its magic on joint health, so I’m not ready to review the quality of this product’s effect on my sweet pupper, Rosie’s, joints.
The following is a comprehensive review on this product’s (unpromised, bonus?) ability to enhance the user’s incubation and expulsion (also read: hellcat megadeath woofer ripping) of poop-air-oh-my-gosh-blackout-causing, decayed-death-smelling, farts.
Simply stated: if this product’s goal were to be the catalyst for the most awful, poopy, dirty, hot poop, stepped-on-dog-crap-while-wearing-boots-smelling, practically inventing a whole new dimension of just how bad a fart can smell, the worst of all basement of gut-shit farm animal stench farts, then it really hit the nail on the head. 10/10: the smell got stuck in my teeth, it was so bad; silent, but worse than deadly.

I’ll give it a few months before reporting back about possible joint health improvements- if I can stand to be around Rosie and her butt blast that long! Even SHE looked at her own backside in disgust.

Don't know if it's a coincidence but my 8 year old Yorkipoo has been bouncing around more than ever since taking Cosequin. Very happy with the results. Would of given it a 5 star but was disappointed that the expiry date on the package was only 2 months away from when I received it.
