But I’ve always thought Iams is a great product. And I buy a little bag three to four times a year for Daniel, the little Malty. Absolutely recommend.
I just received my order today. I opened the box carefully and when I lifted the dog food bag out of the box, I was surprised to find dog food pieces in the box. I turned the bag over and found a very large, jagged tear in the bag. I inspected the box it was shipped in and did not find any damage to the box, so I'm not sure how the dog food bag got damaged. I've ordered this several times before and have never had a problem. I don't want to have to go through the hassle of returning this since it's so heavy and bulky, but I don't feel comfortable feeding this to my dog.
I've always added vegetable oil every day along with a bit of garlic, so I continued to do the same with Iams. My3 older dogs can keep up with my one year old puppies now and aren't so grumpy! They all have fun running around outside.
