   I have been using this food for a very long time and have had few problem with it. I have switched several times when companies began to with to Grain Free Foods saying how much better it was for your dog, I saw little, if any, change and I felt it was more a money making deal as the number of companies and prices began to rise with demand. I had one type that seemed to help some improvement, but at one point the dogs started to lose their shiny coats and overall stamina and weight. Their appetite was not as good as it was. I contacted the company, and was surprised they actually talked to me we talked for quite some time, and it ended up being something I thought might be the problem, they had recently changed the recipe. I decided to change back to this food, and I saw a difference for the better within about two weeks. The pictures show the condition and overall condition of one of my Basenji puppies from puppy to adult, and how much he liked the food.

   We just got our second bag. Both my girls chowed it down. One is 20 months, the other is 13 years old. My older one still will romp on the beach, just not as long as the younger one. They are both about 45-49 lbs and eat 4.5 cups daily between them. It was a good value.

   This is one of the few foods that doesn’t upset my dog’s stomach, so I stick with it. He is shiny and healthy but I don’t 100% love the ingredients Iams uses. My real issue is the way Amazon raises and lowers prices. Keep an eye on that. I was on Subscribe & Save and it fluctuated as much as $8. It doesn’t do this at my local stores, so I cancelled the plan and only order if the price is right when we need food.

   *Update: I completed the returns process and was sent a new bag free of charge and was not required to send back the defective product. It arrived in 2 days and did not have a huge tear in it this time. Pleased with this resolution!
   
   I just received my order today. I opened the box carefully and when I lifted the dog food bag out of the box, I was surprised to find dog food pieces in the box. I turned the bag over and found a very large, jagged tear in the bag. I inspected the box it was shipped in and did not find any damage to the box, so I'm not sure how the dog food bag got damaged. I've ordered this several times before and have never had a problem. I don't want to have to go through the hassle of returning this since it's so heavy and bulky, but I don't feel comfortable feeding this to my dog.
