Your fish don’t need anything different than these pond flakes. I’ve been feeding my ALL my fish with Tetra Pond flakes for over 16 years. I manage 19 aquariums with well over 2300 fish. Even my Discus tanks only get this flake. It’s Fish food and it feeds them without the ridiculous costs of over marketed hype foods. Attached is a picture of just one of my Discus aquariums. As you can see, they are healthy and beautiful.

So after purchasing koi food (pellets), and different styles of flakes over the years i finally decided to try this! What a massively vast difference—absolute night & day difference! My koi just love this stuff! It’s always super fresh, the flakes are big and never broken, can always sealed for freshness—which is one of the things I love about the size of the can it comes in (it doesn’t get stale). It has made every color on each of my koi fish so vibrant and lovely! Seems to keep the algae at bay, my koi happy, life is good in the pond! I’ve not put it on auto ship and I’ll definitely keep it that way! If you have a koi pond, or any pond with fish—buy this! Hope this review was helpful & i hope you have a golden day!

They are energetic and brightly colored. I do mix the flakes twice a week with pond sticks as well. (Same brand) The sticks are a bit more substantial if you have lots of fish or bigger fish.

I feed this food to Goldfish, Guppies, Gourami Fish, Comets, and Plecos. The Guppies are unable to eat the white flakes. The white ones are just too tough. What ends up happening is the flakes stay at the bottom of the aquarium and never dissolve. My other fish can eat it with no problem. I like the price for the amount of food that you receive. I'd recommend this food if you feed your fish every hour like I do😬
